Ich bin hin und her gerissen, zwischen tiefem entsetzen und spontanem Gelächter. Schau sie dir an, und vielleicht wirst du erkennen was ich meine.
Auf dem "Have you met Ted" - Blog hat da jemand in den Kommentaren seinem Ärger ebenfalls Luft gemacht, und wie ich finde sehr ansehnlich:

fat suit aside, i dont get the direction they went with barney and robin.
what happened?
its hard to tell.- they build it up for 1 and 1/2 seasons, and then it happened, and then what?
1- we missed the chance and the fun of seeing these two build a relationship together, instead we get them already in a relationship and lily forcing them to admit they love each other. cute, but they could have explored this in so many ways, and made it so much fun…
2- instead of acting like the two awesome characters that they are, they start acting OOC, and robin is suddenly the most uptight girlfriend ever. the best scenes are the montages in which they show them being totally on character, and fighting, and doing weird things, but we never REALLY get to see that…
3- because instead of showing us them acting crazy together, and fighting and being intense, basically being the people that they were before, they showed them as a regular boring couple, and poor robin doesnt have much to do. and i, who always wanted to see them together, start wishing that they would break up…
but then, there’s the break up…
how stupid was this break up? he’s fat and she’s acting like an old woman? it doesnt make any sense, it also doesnt add up to what we’ve seen them do so far. and they break up why? because they love each other so much that they are not themselves anymore? it doesnt make any sense!
why come up with a storyline and then treat it like that? it felt so rushed and unrealistic, the thing i love the most about himym is how similar to our own lives it can be, and then there’s this…. and a fat suit, this is not the show that i fell in love with, when they cut to the scene where robin says no to ted proposing… wow, it felt so different to what we were watching. barney in a fat suit, how horrible was that? it took away any feeling, any emotion that was present in that scene.
im not on the hate train, i did laugh and liked quite a few of the previous episodes, but the way they handled this storyline left a bad taste in my mouth. and i had to let this out of my system, i did it here, because i love this website, and i love how you love this show as much (probably more) than i do… and i wanted to know how you feel about this.
anyway, in the end, i was glad they broke up, i missed my robin, and now i can wait to see that robin sparkles thing, and barney did look awesome in the end, its a pity that they had to make him look so awful before, i dont think that was necessary. lets see what comes up next."
Aber jetzt ist das Problem ja geklärt, hoffentlich werden die nächsten Folgen besser. Wenn es in dieser nicht so coole Sprüche gegeben hätte, dann wäre sie zur worst episode ever gewählt worden. Ich mein, die darstellung der beiden, das war so... naja, steht ja auch alles in dem Kommentar oben, dem ich voll zustimme!
OK, gerade habe ich mit meiner eisernen Regel gebrochen, und diese Folge an der Uni geschaut. Aber sie war plötzlich einfach so im Blog... ^^
AntwortenLöschenMeine Meinung: Da hat sich jemand von der allgemeinen Perspektivlosigkeit der Barney/Robin-Story und den Zuschauern in Panik versetzen lassen und mit der heißen Nadel einen Breakup mit anschließender Versöhnung gestrickt. Die Autoren haben einfach gemerkt, dass sie sich mit dieser Beziehung verrannt haben und wollten sie hinter sich bringen. Als sie sie geplant haben, war ja noch nicht abzusehen, dass noch derartig viele Staffeln folgen würden.
Aber ehrlich: In einer Folge Ende und unbeschwerter Neuanfang??? Die Szene im Restaurant war so schlecht gespielt - aber das kann man auch nicht glaubwürdig rüberbringen. Genauso stört mich die in den letzten Episoden zunehmene Zeitraffung. Die haben doch jetzt schon fast ein jahr rumgebracht! Argh!!!
Aber die Szene vor dem Restaurant im Wagen war einfach brilliant. Eine der besten Stellen der ganzen Staffel bisher. Und überhaupt hatte ich mehr Lacher als in manchen Vorgängern.
Mit dem End-Ergebnis bin ich letzlich genau wie der englische Kommentator sehr einverstanden und freue mich auf den alten Barney.
Fazit:
Ich glaube, für diese (notwendige) Entwicklung ließ sich einfach kein befriedigender Weg finden. Und genau den haben sie auch genommen. ^^
Ich finde, dem wäre entgegenzuhalten, dass die einzelnen episoden ja bereits vor drehstart zur staffel so einigermaßen stehen. Auch wenn es mir schwer fällt zu glauben, dass die Idee dieser Episode über bis dato 6 abgedrehte episoden bestand hatte (irgendwem hätte die absurdität doch auffallen müssen), muss davon ausgegangen werden, dass das von langer hand geplant war. Sogesehen ist die ganze RoBarn-Story ein einziger Pfusch. Schade eigentlich =)
